Whitewater Rafting Adventure

In celebration of my sister's birthday, the family decided to spend the weekend in CdO and do something adventurous rather than going to the mall and watch a movie. Since the city is known for its whitewater rafting adventures, we decided to join the bandwagon of tourists who are all raring to go and experience the fun.

I remembered that my former college classmates had the whitewater rafting extravaganza late last year. Unfortunately, I was not able to join them because I attended my high school reunion in Davao. Since that's already water under the bridge, it's now my turn.

We availed of the advanced type of water-rafting. The main difference is that we got to pass more rapids than the beginners-type or something. I was apprehensive at first because we were told about the possibility of falling off the raft and possibly smashing into rocks. However, I realized that I know how to swim so the initial fear was gone.

It turns out, we had a lot of fun during the entire journey. We only had the chance to take photos after we passed the rapids because we could not risk the camera from getting wet or worse, smashing into a rock.

I experienced muscle pains after the adventure because of the heavy paddling and all that but it was worth it.

Looking forward to the next adventure...
